Period photos and ads; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 36 pages; 1935 "Official Program" published by the Lancaster PA Airport Commission celebrating the opening of the new airfield. Rare local history and early aviation piece is in neat and attractive condition. Photo illustrated wraps with saddle stapled binding. Large format book is illustrated throughout with early aviation related photographs and period aviation related ads, including Hamilton Watch, "the Watch that times the airways", James Wild, auto and aviation parts, Henry Small on N. Prince, purveyors of airplane tires -- and many more. Light storage wear to cover edges and just milf furring to spine edge. Expected light toning to paper stock. VG. A rarely seen item.

8vo 8" - 9" tall; 310 pages; Bound in publisher's green cloth with title lettering and pictorial vignette vividly stamped in dark green to the spine. A solid, clean copy of this most difficult to find Haycox novel, an outlier from his genre Westerns. An earley aviation (western) themed novel, this title has never been reprinted after the original edition. Trace rubbing to cloth at tips and spine ends. Top edge stain of dark green just a little faded. This unusual departure by Haycox blends genres of Adventure, Romance, Mystery and Aviation with a western themed setting. Very scarce in the marketplace, this copy lacks dust jacket but is otherwise VG.

Thin short area of cloth at front edge of the cover board has some presumed silverfish predation - a ; oss of the surface luster to the cloth.
