Soundly bound with complete set of 16 plates. A map is mentioned in the book's subtitle but was apparently left out of the American edition, or never included at all. Cloth rubbed and nicked at corner tips and spine ends. Expected halo toning to page stock. Endpages present but a little tender in the front joint. Gilt detailing at spine a little dulled. A simple 3 character catalog number at base of spine in white paint, is presumably that of the original individual owner. A memoriam bookplate to the front pastedown. Illustrated with views and scenes printed on glossy stock. G++ to VG-
