[xlviii] 470, 496. Soundly bound in contemporary calf boards, rebacked spine with very sympathetic and professional attention and morocco label to spine. Calfover boards a little pocked and crazed to surfaces but very stable. Front and rear blanks missing. Contents complete and clean with occasional ink smudge or spot of toning. Bequest bookplate to a private liberal arts colledge mounted to the front pastedown could be removed. No other indications of institutional ownership. Title pages for both parts dated 1680. Includes an extended group of testimonials as front matter including those by William Penn, George Fox, G Whitehead, Samuel Jennings, Ambrose Riggs, Thomas Zachary, Robert Jones, Thomas Evernden, Christopher Taylor, Thomas Ellwood, Alexander Parker, the author's wife Mary etc. Nicely preserved copy.
