12mo 7" - 7" tall; 216 pages; HC/DJ. Apparent and presumed 1st edition. Swift title list on jacket flap lists 28 titles, ending with "Chest of Secrets" ; ad at rear of book lists 27 Swift titles, not including not including"Chest of Secrets". Sound dust jacketed copy in original mustard yellow cloth with "quad" design of illustrations in red and green. Pictorial dust jacket is bright, with a nickel sized chip missing from the top edge of the rear panel and a few very small chips/nicks from the spine ends and corners. There are several short closed tears at jacket edges, light toning to the whites of the jacket's rear and spine panels and mild surface rub. Binding is square and snug; trace patches of silverfish predation to the cloth along the front spine edge and lower edge of the upper board and front edge of the lower board. Corners lightly tapped. Page block edges lightly soiled. Solid and bright; an attractive copy of the apparent 1st edition. VG-/VG-

Tight. Clean copy in a crisp edged and clean dust jacket with just mild toning to the whites of the design and mild general handling evidence to edges and surfaces.
