This copy in a fine recent sprinkled calf with paneling in blind to boards and brown title label, gilt to spine. Refreshed endpages of laid paper sympathetic and tasteful. Prior ownership in manuscript to recto of frontis; a more modern small ink name stamp top edge of page block. One plate has archival mending to folds and another with light chipping and furring at the front edge. Generally very handsome, complete copy handsomely rebound. VG

[16], 392 pp. With 15 lates, including one folding table, one folding map, eight folding pictorial plates and five single page engraved plates. Extra engraved title page at front not included in the number of plates. Soundly bound in period leather with gilt tooled designs in spine compartments fading; morocco title label to spine. Shallow chipping and loss to leather to base of spine; less so at crown. Marbled endpages with remnant of armorial bookplate to front; some damp evidence to endpages with mild perforation at foot of the rear lining pages. Light tea colored damp lines to the lower half of the last 25 and first 10 or so leaves. Extra engraved title page has a small chip missing from the margin at the bottom edge. Plates are crisp and well preserved with a few showing light damp lines most apparent on the blank sides. 19th century Philadelphia bookseller label to the recot of the first blank. Sound and complete, a solid copy in better than Good condition
