Cloth chipped at crown of spine and rubbed at tips and edges. 1835 gift inscription from a Morrison to a JD McCutch[e]on. Text unmarked with some light to moderate foxing scattered throughout. A simple hand-numbered, private library call label mid spine; this copy at one time in the library of the defunct, much-noted Mountain Springs Hotel (in Ephrata, PA) -a gathering place for adherents of Spiritism, Theosophy and metaphysics.
