Folio 13" - 23" tall; Folio sized collection of 9 portfolios of collotype printed photo views. Housed in original folding green cloth chemise case. Each of the nine separate volumes is uniformly bound in heavy green paper covers with elaborate gilt title design to front cover. Contents are in superb condition. Covers bright and fresh; tissue guarded views in immaculate condition. River views, prominent homes, churches and structures, bird's eye views of central areas; all appear unhandled. Tissue guards immaculate. The green cloth case is still sound and clean with title lettering in gilt to cover board. Shelf/storage rubbing and light fray to the cover cloth at corners and ends. Tenderness at the spine hinge folds and the ribbon closures at the front edge are missing. Contents about Fine in decently preserved original case. A notably uncommon collection of Central PA photo views from the turn of the century, remarkably uncommon in such well preserved condition.
