8vo 8" - 9" tall; 42 volumes, complete set of all published volumes. "Official Text in the English Language" Vol I & III rebound in library buckram; otherwise uniform in blue cloth with titles in silver. Vol I a summary volume with charging documents, findings and summaries. Vol 2 - 22, a chronological record of the Proceedings; Vol 23 & 24 are indices by name, subject & document and include errata. Vol 25 - 42 collect documented evidence - usually in the original German. Includes some graphic and photographic evidence. Vols 2 & 4 are somewhat rough in the bindings - shaken with partial splitting in the joints. Post War paper and cloth of somewhat lower quality; some fraying to cloth over joints; boards scraped at some front edges and rubbed through to some corners. Paper quality of Vols 25-42 is of lower quality than the first 24 vols and here and there is considerably toned. Vol 28 has some loss to the top edge of about 8-10 pages - apparently from a binder's flaw; there is some loss of text on these pages. Decent reference/research copy. Woodcuts, engravings, maps; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 514 pages; Full polished calf leather binding with morocco leather title label at spine. Contents complete and binding sound. Leather splitting along the front external hings, but with boards still sound. Leather moderately surface and edge rubbed. Damp line along the top edge of the first and last 80 or so pages. Scattered mild foxing and toning to text, but considerably heavier to the engraved plates and adjoining pages. Pages a bit stiff from the effects of the damp/spill to the top edge. One signature starting mid book, but still well bound. Illustrated throughout with woodcut portraits, scenes and maps. In condition ready for reading but would be improved with an eventual rebacking restoration. G+
