Presumably published and distributed to department stores and small retail shops as a premium. A very large ABC book with charming color lithograph illustrations by Buck throughout. Typically there are 2 letters of the alphabet per page with examples of words often of products or items that would correspond to a child's items of interest such as toys, games and clothes. Though a Worldcat search finds no copies held in any library or special collection, the 2 or 3 copies located with a google image search generally feature a store stamp to the cover. In this case the store that distributed the book as a premium was the multi generational Shaub's Shoe Shop of Lancaster PA; their square ink stamp centered on the front cover. . Mild furring to covers at spine and slight fading to color at cover edges. There is a light vertical fold crease centered to the covers and contents.
