Squat, stout volume in period patterned paper over boards. Binding sound and snug with boards sound in joints. Paper over boards rubbed over spine edges with flaking and light chipping; boards visible at spine edges but remaining well bound. Scattered toning and foxing to text is generally mild. Spine panel unlettered but a rectangular paper label is mounted near crown with a hand lettered 3 digit numeral. Sound and clean. Uncommon in either of the tw volume and scarcer still in the complete 2 volume form dealing with all 4 Gospels. VG-
