Hardcover bound, uniform in fine red cloth - probably a recasing circa 1900 - 1920. All 3 volumes snugly bound and neat. Prior library ownership with call labels at spine and book plates to front paste downs. Call slips and bar code labels to rear end pages. Sturdy bindings with linen-lined interior joints. 1st end page of Vols II and II have mild snags and short adhesion tears, presumably from the fresh early 20th century cloth casing. Pages 450 -480 of Vol II have been bumped at the front edge with shallow chips to the front margin, not near any text. Expected light to moderate toning to the paper stock of the text.
